Can you share the color? If that's OK to do (ie I remember hearing it's a problem when you apply more layers like poly but I'm not sure) it might work for you. Our hardwood installer actually did one coat sealant last Friday, then a coat of finish later in the day, then Saturday did another coat of finish. After reading on the website about this particular water-based finish, I learned that while it might dry clear, it leaves an amber color tone--just what I did not want. I adore the light color, but every little water spot shows, or a splash of spilled coffee. If you have 3000sf then the $2500 upgrade is nothing. Being able to apply multiple coats in a day, depends on the square footage of the project. Would love to see pics of the InteseSeal, as we are considering the same. You only need an inch.
